Get ready, everybody — El Chido is teaming up with Tomatillo for one rooftop fiesta you won’t want to miss. On 28 September, from 6PM to 10.30PM, we’re bringing you a day of tacos, ceviche, live music, and endless good vibes against the Singapore skyline.

Founded by husband-and-wife chef duo Daniel & Tamara Chavez – the successful chefs behind Canchita Peruvian Cuisine and Tinto Spanish Restaurant – Tomatillo is their love letter to Mexico. Drawing from their heritage and culinary journeys, Tomatillo brings heartfelt flavours, authentic recipes, and a modern twist that celebrates the soul of Mexican cuisine.

For their rooftop debut at El Chido, Tomatillo is serving up comforting Mexican classics with a vibrant touch. Expect zesty Ceviche Verde with prawns, calamari and tiger’s milk, smoky Elotes hot off the grill, and crowd-favourite tacos like the indulgent Taco of Love with pork sausage, prawn and adobo sauce. Sweet finales come in the form of the traditional Tres Leches cake and the silky smooth Flan Mexicano — all perfectly paired with El Chido’s signature rooftop drinks.

And that’s not all — the fiesta will be soundtracked by live DJ beats from DJ RY and the pulsating rhythms of percussionist Martin Lopez, turning the rooftop into the hottest party in town.
